The women empowerment - agent of change, Women for Sustainable Development (WFSD) celebrated its official launch with a high impact- event on 22 September 2020.

The event commenced with a panel talk in khartoum, titled WFSD Vision, Mission and Message  led by Dr. Mai Mamoun and attended virtually by chairwomen of WFSD from Sctoland - Asma Abdalla Elamin and Poet, Dr. Marwa Babiker - a known voice of the Sudanese revolution.

Women empowerment through entrepreneurship remains challenge-packed, especially in social enterprise and tech. We at WFSD will be the support, consultants and mentors to SWEL community of women apprentices, through vast access to industry experts and collaborative spaces to start and grow businesses that will create resilient women creating sustainable livelihood for themselves, their families and the community.

WFSD is also comminited to real Climate action and raising awareness of the urgency of taking tangible action and building resilelnce to the climate impacts among the Sudanese society, through involvment of Sudanese families and the community at large in activities that limit rising temperautes and reduce climate change.
